Afrikaans: Pondoboesmanstee.
This rare tree grows up to 30m, and is found in ravines and riverine forests. Attachted to its bracnhes are leathery, shiny, dark green leaves. The margin is scalloped with blunt glandular tips. The trunk is tall, with huge buttresses and often has coppicing stems.
