Alternativly called: Outeniqua Yellowwood, Small-leaf Yellowwood
Afrikaans: Outeniekwageelhout, Sotho/Xhosa/Zulu: Umsonti.
The trunk is a dark purple-brown, and flakes in rough patches on mature trees. The leaves are spiralled, small and narrow, and twist at me base.
